Hey, everyone – we had a baby this week!  Our daughter and son-in-law had their first baby, a son, late late Monday night. His name is Jackson Miles Hastings, and he is as cute as a button. We are so grateful, and God is soooo good! Between that momentous event and Miss Lucy’s funeral today, there will be no Worship Minute this week. But I am worshiping, and I hope you are as well – every day, because our God is always worthy of our worship! He reminded me this week of the verse in Job where disaster has struck his home, his fortune and his family, but he remains faithful to the Lord, and he states his intention to continue to worship, come what may.

And Job said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised! (Job 1:21)
